ICRA Nepal has upgraded the Fund Management Quality Rating (FMQR) of NMB Capital Limited to [ICRANP] AMC Quality 2+; making it highest-rated fund manager in its industry. The rating indicates high assurance regarding the company’s fund management quality.
NMB Capital has been managing three closed end and one open-end scheme as of now. As of Falgun 2082, the Asset Under Management (AUM) and Net Asset Value (NAV) of scheme remains as follows:
• NMB 50: AUM of NPR 1.36 Billion with a NAV of NPR 10.86.
• NMB Sulav Investment Fund-II: AUM of NPR 1.49 Billion with NAV of NPR 12.20.
• NMB Hybrid Fund L-II: AUM of NPR 1.47 Billion with NAV of NPR 10.75
The company’s Open-End scheme, NMB Saral Bachat Fund-E’s size has been increasing tremendously with the participation of more than 55K retail investors for Systematic Investment Plan (SIP). As of Falgun 2082, the scheme reported an AUM of NPR 4.37 Billion with NAV of NPR 11.01, which has already climbed to NPR 4.94 Billion to date. The scheme received approval from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) on 2082/12/08 to increase the scheme’s size to NPR 10 Billion. This regulatory nod follows SEBON’s circular regarding seed capital issued on 2082/10/02. Driven by the steady rise in retail investor participation via SIPs, the recent fund size increase provides the scalability needed to significantly broaden the scheme’s reach and market impact.
