Pakistan Embassy, PNAN Organize Free Medical Camp in Kathmandu

Kathmandu, June 13, 2026 — The Embassy of Pakistan, in collaboration with the Pakistan Nepal Alumni Network (PNAN), organized a free medical camp at Ward No. 4 of Nagarjun Municipality in Kathmandu on Saturday.
The health camp was attended by PNAN President Dr. Deepak Mishra, Deputy Mayor Sushila Adhikari of Nagarjun Municipality, Ward 4 Chairperson Laxmi Ram Sharma, local representatives, and community volunteers.
A team of doctors, most of whom graduated from medical institutions in Pakistan, provided healthcare services to local residents, including senior citizens, women, and children. More than 100 patients received medical examinations and consultations during the camp.
According to organizers, several patients requiring specialized treatment were referred to tertiary-level hospitals for further care. Essential medicines were also distributed free of charge to beneficiaries.
The Embassy of Pakistan expressed appreciation to PNAN physicians and the local municipality for their support in successfully conducting the medical outreach program.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Mayor Sushila Adhikari thanked the Embassy of Pakistan and PNAN for organizing the free health camp and bringing healthcare services closer to local residents.
PNAN President Dr. Deepak Mishra praised the Embassy’s efforts in supporting Nepal’s medical sector and acknowledged its continued assistance in promoting healthcare initiatives.
The medical camp forms part of ongoing community welfare efforts aimed at improving access to basic healthcare services for local communities in Nepal.
