Kathmandu, Nepal – August 30, 2025 – The Kathmandu Chronicles, an event organized by MCube in partnership with BYD, was hosted at the Marriott Kathmandu, Naxal. It concluded with a vibrant celebration of culture, collaboration, and exploration.

 

As a proprietary event of MCube Nepal, hosted at the Marriott Kathmandu, this initiative extends the concept of connection and partnership beyond the conference room and into the living heritage of Nepal. The event was designed for Marriott’s MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) clients. It brought the city to life, showcasing a blend of Nepal’s heritage and a sense of adventure for participants from the MICE industry.

 

 

This year, MCube Nepal pushed the limits of a traditional meeting by placing their participants right in the center of the city itself. Kathmandu Chronicles was a treasure hunt by design that blended sightseeing, local culture, and team-building into a wonderful activity. Participants departed Marriott Naxal in their BYD cars to heritage sites including, but not limited to, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, and Swayambhunath.

At each heritage site, teams worked to answer riddles, complete cultural challenges, and unlock hidden stories about the city’s past. At each stage of the journey, the event created fun and adventure while allowing participants to appreciate the timeless heritage of Kathmandu. Along the way, the event demonstrated how Nepal provides so much more than meeting venues, and is a place where business, culture, and experience meet.

The adventure concluded with a grand finish at Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu, where participants gathered for a celebration and recognition ceremony. The winning team was honored with the title of “Kathmandu Experts”.
