Kathmandu, Nepal – May 10th, 2026 – In a heartfelt act of compassion and social responsibility, Kathmandu Marriott Hotel, operating under Everest Hospitality and Hotel Ltd., reached out to one of Kathmandu’s most deserving communities by donating cash and lunch to Prisoners Assistance Nepal, located in Sankhu.

The handover ceremony took place at the premises of Prisoners Assistance Nepal, where the Owner of Everest Hospitality and Hotel Ltd. personally presented a cash donation of One Lakh Rupees along with lunch for 200 children to the organization. The event brought together representatives from the hotel and staff of Prisoners Assistance Nepal, creating a moment of warmth and solidarity for those who are often overlooked by society.

Prisoners Assistance Nepal is an organization primarily focused on the complete care of children whose parents are in prison. The organization works tirelessly to ensure these children receive the support, love, and opportunities they deserve, while also striving to transform prisons into places that help prisoners build a worthwhile future. Contributions like this go a long way in restoring dignity and hope to both the children and their families. The cash donation will assist the organization in meeting its operational needs, while the lunch will provide immediate nourishment to 200 children in their care.
