25th August 2025, Kathmandu: SPG Automobiles, the authorized distributor for Omoda & Jaecoo vehicles in Nepal has offered a first look at the upcoming iCAUR v23 during a preview event at Silver Oak, Gairidhara on 25th August 2025.

The iCAUR V23 represents a fusion of rugged aesthetics and cutting-edge technology, creating a new benchmark in the segment.

Characterized as a tough yet precisely engineered retro-classic SUV with cyber-tech design, the V23 is powered by a 100-kW single motor setup delivering 180 Nm of torque, paired with a 59.93 kWh battery pack. The SUV measures 4,220 mm in length, 1,915 mm in width, 1,845 mm in height, with a 2,735 mm wheelbase, ensuring a balanced stance and spacious proportions.

Reflecting growing consumer interest in rugged-looking electric vehicles, the V23 will be offered in six color options. Its cabin emphasizes comfort and practicality, with ample front space allowing convenient entry and exit from both sides, complemented by expansive rear seating. Inside, the SUV introduces uniquely designed mechanical knobs that blend tactile functionality with modern styling. Built on a high-rigidity body utilizing over 70% high-strength steel, the V23 adheres to enterprise-grade battery safety standards, underscoring iCAUR’s commitment to durability and protection.

Attendees at the event were offered hands-on access to the vehicle’s intelligent tech, and driving experience. SPG Automobiles, which also distributes Omoda & Jaecoo, aims to revolutionize and elevate the electric driving experience for Nepali consumers. ICAUR is a new generation electric vehicle brand that launched globally in August 2025. With its debut model, the v23 iCAUR is also set to launch in Nepal redefining the SUV category by combining rugged adventure-ready capability with smart technology.
