Strengthening Nepal’s Global Education Landscape in Collaboration with Taylor’s University, Malaysia

 

Kathmandu, Nepal – IIMS College marked a historic milestone with the grand inauguration of IIMS 2.0 at Bhagwatibahal, Naxal, its next-generation campus designed to elevate higher education standards in Nepal through global partnerships, innovation, and industry-integrated learning.

Founded in 2010, IIMS College has grown into a forward-looking institution offering quality, globally aligned undergraduate programs supported by strong international partnerships and hands-on, industry-focused learning. Taylor’s University, one of Southeast Asia’s leading private universities, is ranked #253 in the QS World University Rankings and is among the top 1% of universities worldwide; its AACSB-accredited business programs highlight its commitment to high-quality, industry-relevant education.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by senior leadership from Taylor’s University, Malaysia, alongside academic leaders, industry partners, students and national media.

The formal ceremony began with a traditional welcome, followed by the ribbon-cutting and inauguration of the new facilities. Guests were given a guided tour of the campus, showcasing its modern infrastructure, learning spaces, and student facilities designed to support an international standard of education. Speaking at the inauguration, Mr. Sabindra Maharjan, CEO/Executive Chairman of IIMS Group, said, “IIMS 2.0 is not just a building; it is a promise to Nepal’s future.
