India’s Premium Electric Scooter Brand Ampere Now in Pokhara

Kathmandu – It has been nearly two months since Ampere, a premium electric scooter brand manufactured in India, entered the Nepali market. The scooters are produced by Greaves Electric Mobility, a company backed by 165 years of engineering excellence in India. In Nepal, the brand is officially distributed and marketed by STC Auto Solution Pvt. Ltd., operating under the STC Group.

As part of its nationwide expansion in Nepal, Ampere has now officially commenced sales and distribution in Pokhara as well. DNB Trade Pvt. Ltd., located at Buddhachowk, Pokhara, has been appointed as the authorized dealer of Ampere scooters and has officially started sales and distribution of the Ampere Nexus EX from Baisakh 31.

DNB Trade Pvt. Ltd. has entered the Pokhara market with the Ampere Nexus EX model.

Greaves Electric Mobility has been manufacturing electric two-wheelers in India for the past 15 years. Ampere has established itself as one of the leading electric scooter brands in India.

Ampere scooters are recognized for their high performance, attractive design, smart technology, and world-class quality. In particular, the Ampere Nexus EX has been introduced as an ideal option for customers seeking a comfortable, economical, and practical electric vehicle for daily use.

Ampere scooters use Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) batteries. These scooters have been tested under extreme temperatures ranging from minus 40 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius. The LFP battery used in Ampere scooters offers a life cycle of up to 2,000 cycles. Additionally, the battery comes with a warranty of up to 75,000 kilometers or 5 years.

Ampere scooters feature a strong chassis, twin suspension, smart technology, comfortable riding experience, and attractive features.

Ampere Nexus EX

The Ampere Nexus EX is equipped with a 3.9 kW motor and a 3 kWh LFP battery. According to the company, the scooter can travel up to 136 kilometers on a full charge. The battery can be fully charged at home in approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes.

The scooter comes with a mid-mounted motor and offers five riding modes, including reverse mode. It also includes modern features such as alloy wheels, disc brakes, all-LED lighting, USB charger, and connectivity features.
The price of the Ampere Nexus EX has been fixed at NPR 335,000 (Three Hundred Thirty-Five Thousand Rupees only).
