Nepal SBI Bank Supports Over 110 Underprivileged Students Through CSR Initiative

Kathmandu | June 3, 2026 (Wednesday)– Nepal SBI Bank Ltd. (NSBL) has carried out a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative by providing school bags, stationery, and sports materials to all students of Shree Seto Gurans Namuna Balbatika Basic School, located in Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City.
The items were formally handed over by Ms. Damayanthi Joshi, Head of Koshi Province, NSBL, to Ms. Laxmi Chaudhary, Principal of the school. The initiative was undertaken to enhance the learning environment by providing essential educational resources and creating a more comfortable and motivating atmosphere for students.
More than 110 students from economically disadvantaged and underprivileged communities benefited from the program. Teachers, students, and bank officials were present during the event.
NSBL has consistently conducted similar CSR initiatives in the education sector, reflecting its commitment to supporting educational development and community welfare.
The bank has been providing banking services in Nepal for the past 32 years. Currently, it operates through a network of 103 branches, 22 extension counters, 7 provincial offices, 21 branchless banking outlets, 127 ATMs, and a corporate office across the country.
