Kathmandu — Premier International IB Continuum School celebrated a dynamic display of creativity, curiosity, and technical excellence at the Anveshan_MYP STEAM Exhibition 2025, where more than 35 student-led projects from Grades 6, 7, and 9 captivated visitors with hands-on innovation.

The exhibition highlighted students’ deep inquiry into themes such as Simple and Complex Machines, Energy Transformation, and Systems, demonstrating how STEAM learning empowers young minds to think critically, design purposefully, and solve real-world problems.

From automated systems to sustainable technology, students presented a wide range of functional prototypes—including an Automatic Water Dispenser, Hydraulic Braking System, Gravity-Fall Electricity Generator using Piezoelectric Plates, Smart Gesture-Based Prosthetic Arm, Emergency Situation Remote-Operated Car, Smart Street Lights, and models of Renewable Energy Sources. Guided by their STEAM mentors, students followed the structured MYP Design Technology process—Inquiry, Development, Creation, and Evaluation—transforming classroom concepts into practical, meaningful outcomes.

Beyond scientific knowledge, the exhibition allowed students to develop essential 21st-century skills: CAD and 3D modelling, circuitry and soldering, Arduino-based coding, block and text coding, and workshop safety. They also practiced real-world competencies such as project planning, collaboration, troubleshooting, and iterative problem-solving. The process of refining their ideas and overcoming challenges became as valuable as the final products, reflecting Premier’s commitment to hands-on, student-centered learning.

The event was graced by Guest Judge Mr. Hitesh Golchha, Director of Hipco Infra and Founder of The Leaf Resort & Spa, who praised the exceptional confidence and technical ingenuity of the students—especially those in the younger grades. Inspired by their creativity, he generously sponsored Lego gift bags for the winning teams, further encouraging their innovative spirit.

The Anveshan_MYP STEAM Exhibition 2025 stands as a testament to Premier’s vision of experiential, inquiry-driven education. By giving learners the space to design, prototype, test, and improve their ideas, Premier continues to nurture young innovators equipped not only with knowledge but with the mindset to create impactful solutions for the world around them.
