Kathmandu, June 09–Ncell Business, the enterprise solutions arm of Ncell, has announced that it has been awarded the ‘ANSI/TIA-942-C Rated 3 (Tier III) Design & Constructed Facility Certification’ for its state-of-the-art data centre, known as Integrated Data Centre (IDC), in Nakkhu, Lalitpur.

This internationally recognised certification further highlights the Ncell Data Centre’s high standards of reliability, security, and quality. The facility is also the Nepal’s first government-certified data centre and cloud service provider.

This certification confirms that the design of Ncell Data Centre meets Tier Rating III standards, ensuring concurrently maintainable infrastructure with the high availability, redundancy, and resilience required to support mission-critical operations. Designed for maximum uptime, the facility can continue operating without interruption during planned maintenance or unexpected events, delivering approximately 99.982% availability through fully redundant power, cooling, and network systems.

The assessment was carried out by the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) – authorised audit and certification institute—Data Center Media LLP.
