Kathmandu, January 10

Ncell has announced the launch of an attractive starter pack, ‘Yuwa SIM’, specially designed to cater to Gen Z and their communication needs. Based on the company’s commitment to ensuring hassle-free access to telecommunications services for students at more affordable rates, the pack aims to keep today’s youth always connected with mobile connectivity.

This new starter pack, targeting Nepali born after 1997, has come into effect from today (January 10) and is priced at just Rs. 299, inclusive of applicable taxes. It offers a range of benefits, including unlimited Ncell-to-Ncell calls, 5GB data, and free access to digital wallets eSewa and Khalti, as well as the online learning platform ‘Mero School’, all valid for 28 days.

In addition, subscribers will enjoy heavy discounts on off net (Ncell to other local networks) calls at just Re. 1 per minute. Similarly, customers can continue using Pay As You Go data services at 50 paisa per MB after using the assigned volume of 5GB data, within the 28-day validity period.

“We are delighted to introduce ‘Yuwa SIM’, specially designed for youth, bundled with attractive resources to help them stay connected, simplify their digital lifestyle, and support their education—connecting youth to opportunities, ideas, and a digital future,” said Upanga Dutta, Chief Consumer Business Officer of Ncell.

For Yuwa SIM subscribers, Ncell has also launched an exclusive 1GB data pack valid for 1 day just for Rs. 19, focusing on access to social media. It enables users to enjoy access to Facebook, TikTok and Instagram for 24 hours and remain updated in social media circle.

To subscribe to the Yuwa SIM, customers can visit the nearest Ncell Centre and submit the required documents, including a government-issued ID (Citizenship Certificate or Driving License) and a student ID. In the case of minors, a government-issued ID of the guardian is required.

The pack ensures affordable and easy connectivity for today’s youth through services they use most. To continue enjoying the services and benefits, customers need to repurchase the same pack at the same rate before the end of each 28-day cycle. The pack can be purchased via the Ncell App or by dialing *123#.
