Kathmandu, 15 Magh-MAW Vriddhi Autocorp Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Deepal, Nepal’s No. 1 luxury EV brand, has announced an 11 year warranty on battery and motor for Deepal EVs which is the longest extended EV battery warranty in Nepal.

Deepal EVs come with Changan Automobile’s standard manufacturer warranty of 8 years or 240,000 kilometers for battery and 8 years or 150,000 kilometer in motor. Now, through MAW Vriddhi’s extended warranty program, customers will receive 11 years or 300,000 kilometers warranty coverage for the battery and 11 years or 200,000 kilometers for the motor, making EV ownership even more worry-free.

Deepal EVs are equipped with Golden Shield Battery, developed by CATL, the world’s largest EV battery manufacturer, and advanced motors from Changan, China’s most experienced automobile manufacturer.
Under this extended warranty, Deepal customers will receive coverage for key high-voltage EV components, including high-voltage battery parts, safety and control components, and manufacturing defects, among other eligible high-voltage EV components. In addition, the warranty also covers major parts of the electric motor system, including the traction motor assembly and motor control unit.
