Introduces segment-first projector headlamp, USD suspension and 5-inch TFT cluster

Kathmandu, Nepal – June 27, 2026: TVS Motor Company (TVSM), part of TVS VENU and a globally renowned two and three-wheeler manufacturer, has launched the all-new TVS Apache RTR 160 4V in Nepal, introducing advanced technology and race-inspired performance to the country’s growing community of motorcycle enthusiasts.

The latest iteration of the Apache RTR 160 4V features segment-first technologies, including a projector headlamp, 37mm upside-down (USD) front suspension and a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster, designed to enhance rider safety, visibility and control. The motorcycle retains its racing DNA while incorporating modern technologies and improved riding dynamics.

Powered by a 159.7cc engine, the motorcycle produces a class-leading 17.55 PS at 9,250 rpm in Sport mode, while Urban and Rain modes deliver 15.64 PS at 8,650 rpm. It comes paired with a five-speed gearbox, a 12-litre fuel tank and dual-channel ABS for improved safety. Riders can choose from three ride modes—Sport, Urban and Rain—offering greater adaptability across diverse road and weather conditions.

Drawing on 44 years of TVS Racing heritage, the Apache RTR 160 4V reflects the company’s commitment to democratizing racing by making race-derived engineering and advanced performance technologies accessible to a wider audience.

The launch event, held in Satungal, Kathmandu, brought together members of the media, automobile experts, influencers and motorcycle enthusiasts. Participants experienced the motorcycle through exclusive riding sessions and dedicated track rides.

The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V TFT is currently available at select dealerships in Nepal and will be rolled out across the nationwide dealer network by July 2026. The motorcycle is offered in three colour options—Matte Black, Racing Red and Marine Blue—and is priced at NPR 429,900 (ex-showroom).
