Nepal SBI Bank Ltd. Organizes MD’s Cup Futsal Tournament–2083 to Celebrate 33rd Anniversary and Promote Team Spirit

To commemorate its 33rd Anniversary, Nepal SBI Bank Ltd. organized the MD’s Cup Futsal Tournament–2083, bringing together employees from all seven provinces. The tournament was held on 28 June 2026 at Dhanyentari Futsal, Kathmandu, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from teams representing the Bank’s Provincial Offices and Corporate Office.
The event served as an excellent platform to strengthen camaraderie among employees, promote a healthy work–life balance, and foster teamwork and collaboration beyond the workplace.
The tournament featured exhibition matches involving the Bank’s Management Team and Women’s Team, while teams representing the Provincial Offices and Corporate Office competed in the Men’s Category. The event was graced by the active participation of the Bank’s senior leadership, including Managing Director & CEO Mr. Ram Kumar Tiwari, Deputy CEO & COO Mr. Vikas Anand, CFO Mr. Rajesh Kumar Panda, CBDO Mr. Prabin Muni Bajracharya, CCO Mr. Roshan Koirala, and Bagmati Province Head Mr. Sushil Raj Shrestha, along with other senior officials.

More than 150 employees from across all seven provinces participated in the tournament. Displaying remarkable enthusiasm and sportsmanship, employees took to the field with great energy, reinforcing the values of teamwork, unity, and collaboration while fostering stronger bonds across the organization.
The tournament concluded with an award distribution ceremony, where Mr. Ram Kumar Tiwari, MD & CEO, and Mr. Vikas Anand, Dy. CEO & COO, presented trophies, medals, and certificates to winners and participants across various categories.
In his closing remarks, the MD & CEO commended the enthusiastic participation of employees from across the country and highlighted that such initiatives strengthen the Bank’s culture of teamwork, employee engagement, and collaboration while promoting a healthy and inclusive workplace.
