Kathmandu, October 29, 2025 — Everest Bank Limited (EBL) successfully held its 31st Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday at the Amrapali Banquet in Bhatbhateni, Kathmandu. The meeting unanimously endorsed a total dividend of 20 percent for the fiscal year 2081/82, comprising 6 percent bonus shares and 14 percent cash dividend (including tax on the bonus shares).

The AGM approved the Board of Directors’ report along with the financial statements for the fiscal year 2081/82, including the Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Account, and Cash Flow Statement. A special resolution was also passed to amend the bank’s Memorandum and Articles of Association. Additionally, a new auditor was appointed for the upcoming fiscal year 2082/83, and their remuneration was finalized.

For the purpose of the AGM and dividend eligibility, the bank had set Ashoj 24 (September 10) as the book closure date. Therefore, only shareholders whose transactions were completed by Ashoj 23 are eligible for the approved dividend.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Board, the Chief Executive Officer, Directors, shareholders, and representatives from regulatory bodies. The bank stated that it will soon begin the dividend distribution process.

This AGM is expected to play a key role in shaping the bank’s future strategies, profitability, and institutional reforms.
