Kathmandu, May 18-In line with the commitment to empowering the youth and education, Ncell Foundation in collaboration with Project Shikshya announces the continuity of its nationwide Ncell SEE Scholarships for the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) graduates of 2026, opening doors of opportunity for talented young students across Nepal.

Under this collaboration, Ncell Foundation, will support 100 SEE graduates this year with scholarships for their +2 education. The scholarships will be provided based on written examination that will be conducted across 7 Provinces followed by structured interviews ensuring equitable access for students from every corner of the country, especially targeting those who need financial support for pursuing higher education.

Additionally, students will receive communication support with unlimited data and voice services for 12 months from Ncell for free, enabling them to stay connected to learning, opportunities, and their aspirations.

“At Ncell Foundation, we believe education is a fundamental pillar for shaping Nepal’s future. Through this collaboration with Project Shikshya, we aim to empower and support young SEE graduates to pursue their dreams by ensuring access to quality education for their higher studies. This programme is a commitment to our belief that geography and economic circumstance should never determine youth’s future. With provincial-level examinations and a transparent selection process, we are reaching students who have the potential but lack the platform. We are helping to build a stronger and more inclusive tomorrow for Nepal,” said Bishakha Lakshmi Khadka, Corporate Communications & Sustainability Director at Ncell.

Project Shikshya, a scholarship programme run by Hundred Group, will also provide scholarships to an additional 50 students, continuing the programme initiated in 2017. The initiative has been creating meaningful educational opportunities for SEE graduates from across Nepal.

Last year too, under this programme, Ncell Foundation supported 50 students from across the country with scholarships. They are now in grade 12 continuing their higher education at different academic institutions, pursuing ambitions that once felt beyond reach.
