 Kathmandu, Nepal — GWM Nepal has officially introduced the much-anticipated TANK Series TANK 300 HEV & TANK 500 PHEV, marking a bold new era in Nepal’s premium SUV segment. Designed to blend luxury, technology, and rugged off-road strength, the TANK lineup redefines what it means to drive with confidence on every terrain.

Globally, TANK has already won hearts since its debut at the Chengdu Auto Show in 2021 and launch in China in 2022. Today, it dominates markets like Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand, earning a reputation for unmatched power, style, and dependability. At present, it has successfully landed in overseas markets such as Australia, Central Asia, ASEAN, the Middle East, and South Africa, with total global sales of 400000+ units, becoming a new choice for off-road enthusiasts. The entry of the tank brand into the Nepal market is not only a new measure for GWM to fulfill its commitment to the market, but also a new chapter for GWM to explore its off-road culture with a year-on-year increase of 87.59%.

In Nepal, with the overwhelming response, the TANK 300 and TANK 500 are available with a 2.0L turbo petrol HEV & PHEV variant and 9-speed automatic transmission (HI4-T), offering 351 PS peak power and 648 NM torque (HEV) 408 PS peak power and 750 NM torque (PHEV) — built to conquer mountains, highways, and everything in between.
