The FOTON EV van has been granted a European Whole Vehicle Type Approval certificate by TÜV Rheinland, a renowned independent testing, inspection, and certification organization in Germany, which is also the designated technical service provider for the WVTA.

According to the company, the Foton electric passanger van has a battery capacity of 50.23 KWH and a range of up to 235 km on a single charge. It has 85 KW power and 290 nm torque and can be charged at home. The company states that these vans are easy and accessible to use for daily transportation, making them suitable for educational institutions, hotels, routes, travels, tours, and other organizations that prioritize environmentally friendly transportation.

 

This launch is in line with MAW Vridhi Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd’s commitment to promoting sustainable transportation and reducing carbon emissions. It is also a step towards fulfilling the Nepalese Government’s goal of achieving 100% electric mobility by 2030.
