Kathmandu — Agricultural Development Bank Limited (ADBL) marked its 59th anniversary by launching the “One Minute Business Plan” software to help small farmers with commercial planning and opening a Child Care Center for employees.

Chairman Dim Prasad Poudel emphasized adapting to technological changes, while CEO Govind Gurung outlined the bank’s Five-Year Strategic Plan, focusing on agriculture, digital transformation, and financial discipline.

ADBL reported total deposits of Rs 324.97 billion, lending of Rs 230.27 billion, and net profit of Rs 3.73 billion in FY 81/82, maintaining a strong presence in Nepal’s economy with 51% government and 49% public ownership.
