Over 800 Students in Madhesh Benefit from Nepal SBI Bank’s CSR Initiative

Kathmandu, February 26 — Nepal SBI Bank Ltd. (NSBL) has provided educational and essential support to more than 800 students from poor and deprived communities across various schools in Madhesh Province under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
The bank conducted CSR activities at Shree Aadarsh Basic Level School in Jeetpursimara, Bara; Shree Janata Prathamik Vidhyalaya in Hariwan, Sarlahi; Shree Janata Madhyamik Vidhyalaya Belhi Chapena in Rajgadh, Saptari; Shree Baudhik Apangataka Vidhyalaya in Rajbiraj, Saptari; and Shree Dalit Janjagaran Adharbhut Vidhyalaya in Chandrapur, Rautahat.
As part of the initiative, the bank distributed whiteboards, chairs, cupboards, office tables, school uniforms, school bags, stationery, and sports materials to the schools. The bank stated that the initiative aims to improve the educational environment by providing essential learning resources and creating a more comfortable and motivating classroom setting.
According to the bank, more than 800 students directly benefited from the program. Nepal SBI Bank has been regularly conducting CSR activities, particularly in the education sector, to support community development.
Nepal SBI Bank has been providing banking services for the past 32 years. Currently, the bank operates through 102 branches, 22 extension counters, 7 provincial offices, 21 branchless banking outlets, 127 ATMs, and one corporate office across the country.
